Heritage at the Heart: A Harmony of Eastern and Western Love Stories

For our final styled photoshoot in collaboration with some of Malaysia’s top designers, the couple takes a quiet moment to bask in the magic of a new, lifelong chapter, simply relishing in each other’s company after their Nikah.

For their wedding dinner, the groom wears a classic tuxedo - a garment popularised by Prince Edward VII in 1865, while Malaysian TV presenter and model Ain Edruce is dressed in an idyllic Innai Red gown - an aesthetic harmony of the Western “white wedding dress”, and traditional Asian batik.

For jewellery, the bride wears Choo Yilin’s Cherry Blossom Jade Donut Studs along with the Peranakan Lace Pearl Necklace.

Glowing, genuine pearls and radiant Type A Jadeite jewellery frame the bride in an ethereal glow, befitting the tremendous joy of the occasion.

The couple arrive at the stately Carlton 8 at the Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur, where their loved ones await. The room is filled with flourishing blooms in cheerful pastel hues, while the cuisine served is a splendour of taste and mouthwatering Asian flavours.

Like most days, the family dines together but today is extra special.

While the unity between two people is the cause for celebration, the love stories of the day extend far beyond. The bride and groom are surrounded by the love of family - a keyword across Asia, where values like filial piety are a mainstay.

It has been a truly grand ride, and we are glad to have co-produced the Heritage at the Heart series alongside our good friend, Dahlia Mohd, Co-Founder of En Pointe & Co.

Through the journeys we’ve had together, we not only gained invaluable insight into the heritage and traditions of love in Singapore and Malaysia , we also found some amazing new friends across the region. We are immensely honoured and grateful.

Although this marks the conclusion of the series, we’re excited to share that this is only the beginning of Choo Yilin’s adventure beyond Singapore shores. There’s so many more love stories to encounter, to immortalise, and to be inspired by.

We invite you to experience the beauty of it all with us.
